Chartwells, the dining service on the campus of St. Cloud State University hosted a Friendsgiving Thank-ful table event last week, where students could come and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with friends, colleagues, and peers in a way to build a sense of community that was lost during the pandemic.

On Thursday, February 11th the Wright County Sheriff's office held a press conference detailing more information about the suspect who shot at an Allina Health clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota that killed one and injuring four others. Earlier that morning he was officially charged.

On Thursday, December 5th at around 2:00p.m. the Minnesota National Guard lost contact with a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter as it was performing a routine maintenance test run. 90 minutes later the helicopter was found in a line of trees on a farm in Kimball, Minnesota. The National Guard confirms all three souls on board are deceased.

This week marks the start of homecoming for the campus of St. Cloud State University. Many student organizations, such as the University Program Board, or UPB have many fun events planned leading up to the homecoming game on Saturday. UTVS News reported on the homecoming kickoff event, which happened on Wednesday.

As St. Cloud State University celebrates its 150th year, something is being built to commemorate the milestone known as the Husky Plaza. I talked to Vice President of University Advancement Matt Andrew to give more information about the upcoming Husky Plaza and what it means for St. Cloud State University.

St. Cloud State University's Eastman Hall completed its renovation from a physical education and student recreational facility to a building tailored to student health services. The renovated building vastly improves health services for students on and off campus and features many callbacks to the original building.
